The Volunteer Services Council for the Lubbock State School
was formally organized on September 10, 1973, as a chartered,
non profit organization, working to improve the lives of people
served by the School. The Council meets on the third Thursdays
every other month.
MISSION and GOALS
The mission of the Volunteer Services Council for Lubbock
State School is to enrich the lives of those served by Lubbock
State School.
GOAL 1: To meet the needs
of the people who live at the Lubbock State School.
GOAL 2: Attract, retain and
develop a highly qualified, diverse Council membership.
GOAL 3: Provide education
to the public about the Volunteer Services Council and the
Lubbock State School population
GOAL 4: Develop a plan to
ensure a stable, diverse, and self-sustaining financial program
GOAL 5:
To continue to develop a beneficial relationship with the
Parent Association.
